Winery

For us in the Halasi Cellarage, the affection towards this land, the region of Villány is of utmost importance-the natural gift of the grape grown in the spirit of uniqueness characterising this wine region and the wine being the manifestation of the viticulturist’s cherishing care.

Mediterranean climate prevails over our ten hectare family-owned land, with calcareous clay and loess dominating in various thicknesses on the southern slopes. Therefore, this land is optimal for the growing of species with not too late ripening and producing good pigmentation.

Each of the Halasi vineyard’s vine stocks requires special care. We endeavour to multistage sorting and a balanced capacity utilisation of the vine stocks. Through limiting the yield, we prevent the harvest from doubling, thus enabling the nutrients consumed by a vine plant over a vintage to concentrate in the ripe grapes’ colour, scent and flavour, making Halasi wines more full-bodied.

Through manual harvesting and gentle processing of the grapes and the traditional techniques of wine making, we raise our wines to the utmost standard of delicacy, and preserve the wine’s qualities until it is eventually poured into the wine glass. This poses quite a challenge. However, at the Halasi Cellarage everyone works for putting only good quality wines onto our guests’ tables. Pension

For our guests seeking the highest quality of service, we offer comfortable accommodation. Pleasant relaxation is guaranteed in our custom-designed rooms equipped with the most up-to-date comfort facilities. We offer the most delicate coffee specialities and refreshments in our non-stop café, while being at our guests’ disposal with 24-hour room service and receptionists speaking foreign languages.

Rooms

The air conditioned rooms are equipped with mini bar, coffee and tea corner, free wifi, Internet-TV, safe-deposit box, shower and hair drier. Our large and comfortable beds ensure recreation after a long and exhausting day in Villány. We await our dear guests with five double rooms and one triple room.

Services

You may check-in from noon on the day of arrival, and you are kindly requested to leave your room until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Upon request, and depending on vacancy, we are able to modify these times. We maintain reservations until 7 p.m. on the day of arrival. Should you expect to arrive later than that, please inform us beforehand.

Rates of rooms:

1 person/night: 20,000 HUF
2 persons/night: 22,000 HUF
3 persons/night: 28,000 HUF

The above rates are excluding the tourist tax, which is 450 HUF/person/night; every person under the age of 18 shall be exempt from the tourist tax. We are able to accept cancellations in writing only! Payment: with credit card, via bank transfer or in cash.

Restaurant

The restaurant of the Halasi Cellarage seats 80 persons, while our banquet hall - able to accommodate up to 24 persons - is ideal for family events, wedding lunches, dinners and business meetings. The abundant selection of dishes in our restaurant enables our dear guests to find meals most fitting to their taste; the specialties of Hungarian cuisine, as well as vegetarian meals and dishes conforming to the latest healthy dietary trends are all in the assortment.
