The Mayer Winery and Guest House welcomes the everyone who wishes to relax, friends, families, wine-lovers. It’s only the prices of Márton Meyer’s wines that lacks behind those of the top wineries. His vineyards are at Kopár, Remete, Várerdő and the Hajdús Slope, the white grapes are from the area of Siklós.

The currently yielding 8 hectares give the most of the circa 50 thousand bottles of wine, the majority being red, of course. On the plantations, there are more than 5000 vine-stocks are grown the Guyot way, which gives opportunity for improvement.

The surprising Kopár Cuvée, that first came out in 1998 is a Bordeaux-type blend only from the fruit from this area, which is made in a steady quality every year. Their other important wine is the Remete Cuvée, which, on the other hand is a blend of the lighter Blue Frankish.    Mayer Winery and Guest House
