Polgár Wine Treasury Cellar

Established in 1996, the Wine Treasury of Villány is really a club of vinophiles who are also in charge of setting up and running the Storehouse of Hungarian Wine in a cellar network of 1600 sqm floorspace. The latter provides a regular forum for major wineries and wine regions to organize an independent show complete with a tasting opportunity. The immense master room seating 200, with a raised stage in the rear, can serve both as a concert hall and a tasting room uniquely suitable for grand events. The events scheduled here regularly include the Whitsun Wine Tour, the Whitsun Wine Toast Concert followed by the election of the king and queen of the ball, and the Blessing of New Wine in the Fall.
