The Wunderlich Wine Cellar could be a gem of any wine region in the world. It enables the chief wine grower, Alajos Wunderlich – for those who know him well: Lojzi – to make the best quality wines without compromise in the Villány wine region, which has excellent natural resources even at international  level.

The Wunderlich wines are made of perfectly ripe grapes harvested with low yield, which is a token of high quality.

The Winery always uses the fermentation technique fitting best the wine type and vintage. It is a determinant factor of the quality and style of the product. The wines are made with 12-28 months of small barrel then a further 6-12 months of bottle aging under optimal circumstances before being lauched to the market.

The Wunderlich View Cellar and Wine Safe is probably the biggest and the most comfortable wine tasting centre of the Middle-East. There is an underground corridor linking it with the winery. Guests can gain a glimpse of the world of Wunderlich wines free or with the help of qualified staff in the sunny tasting rooms and beautiful sommelier rooms.                                                        

The huge yet friendly and intimate Knight’s Hall and the smaller, hidden places of the casemates offer delicious meals all year long, while the roof-garden with its marvellous view entertains visitors from spring to autumn.    

The most important part of the centre is the wine safe placing 90.000 bottles, which enables wine safe members – any regular customer can be a wine safe member-  to store their wines under optimal circumstances for years.
