Hotel Cabernet was opened in Villánykövesd in 1998, in one of the most beautiful settlements of the Villány Wine Region and of the German population of Baranya county. The peaceful landscape of picturesque beauty provides an excellent opportunity to relax for those who want to escape the bustling of big cities, and in the meantime it gives a great possibility to wine lovers to relax. The settlement, which is located in the north-eastern edge of the Villány Mountains, is a part of the historic wine region of Villány, and thus it belongs to the villages of the Villány-Siklós Wine Region. Hotel Cabernet is to be found in Villánykövesd, next to the world-famous cellar-row under monument protection.

A bathroom, television, telephone, Internet connection, and, in some cases, a balcony or an exit to the terrace belongs to each room of the hotel. Each room of the hotel can be equipped with an extra bed and is non-smoking. The spacious rooms of the hotel (halls, terrace, cellar restaurant, conference hall) provide comfortable stay to bigger groups of friends, as well.
The cosy cellar restaurant within our hotel provides a perfect place for wine tastings and high-quality wine dinners, harvests, or even for romantic dinners. A wine safe and a small wine cellar also belong to the restaurant where the excellent wines of our family winery are stored, and which can be tasted by our guests visiting the hotel. This wine cellar is, by the way, the first cellar of the cellar-row of Villánykövesd.
