Utilizing the excellent conditions of the place, Maczkó wines are made every year with skill, attention and care. The wine region is known mainly for its red wines, our varieties include portugieser, zweigelt, blauburger, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, blue franc and cabernet franc. Our white varieties are Italian Riesling and Chardonnay. Our goal is to make several premium wines every year, and to prove that wines can be made in Villány that stand their ground anywhere in the world. The Great Gold and Gold medals won in the wine competitions confirm that we are on the right track and we must continue on this path.
